​​​​1685 Piano & Harpsichord Tuition is based in Whitley Bay.  Established in 1998 by one of the region's most experienced and qualified music teachers, Andrew Soulsby. Last year his students attained 100% merit/distinction in ABRSM examinations, and went on to study at some of the country's most prestigious musical establishments.

As any experienced classical musician will know, 1685 is one of the  most significant dates in musical history - the birth of the composer J. S. Bach, a composer relevant to pianists and harpsichordists alike. Andrew specialises in classical music, but of course you can study all styles of piano playing at the 1685 studio in Whitley Bay.
